Goodsource is a UK-based digital platform that connects social enterprises, third-sector organisations, and procurement professionals. Our purpose is to support collaboration, transparency, and measurable social value in line with the UK Social Value Act and responsible procurement practices.

The Platform includes, but is not limited to:

  • Smart matching between social enterprises and procurement needs
  • Social impact scoring and independent verification
  • Impact reporting and performance analytics
  • A public directory of verified organisations
  • Access to partnership, tender, and funding opportunities
2. Eligibility Requirements

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Be authorised to act on behalf of an organisation;
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information;
  • Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to deny access or suspend accounts that fail to meet these requirements.

3. Account Creation and Security

When registering on the Platform, you agree to:

  • Submit truthful and verifiable registration information;
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential;
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use or security breach.

You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

4. Platform Features and Services
4.1 Smart Matching

Our matching technology analyses organisational profiles, procurement requirements, and impact objectives to suggest relevant opportunities. The system is designed to promote fairness, transparency, and continual improvement.

4.2 Social Impact Scoring and Verification

Impact scores are calculated using indicators such as:

  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Local job creation and apprenticeships
  • Environmental responsibility
  • Community engagement
  • Ethical sourcing and supply chains

Supporting documentation may be required for verification. Verification services may be subject to a fee.

4.3 Opportunities and Public Directory

Procurement professionals may publish tenders, partnership offers, and funding opportunities. Verified social enterprises can display their profiles and impact credentials in the public directory.

4.4 Reporting and Analytics

The Platform enables enterprises to generate impact reports and monitor progress against social value goals. Procurement leads can assess supplier diversity and measure outcomes across projects.

5. Fees and Payments

Certain features, including verification services and premium listings, require payment. Payments are processed securely via Stripe Checkout. All applicable fees are disclosed prior to purchase and are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Provide misleading or false information;
  • Use the Platform for unlawful or unethical activities;
  • Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content;
  • Attempt unauthorised access or reverse engineering;
  • Infringe intellectual property rights.

Breaches of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Data is collected only where necessary for Platform functionality, verification, communication, and reporting.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, including design, branding, algorithms, and materials, is owned by Goodsource Ltd or its licensors. Users retain ownership of their content while granting Goodsource a licence to use it for Platform operations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses;
  • The Platform is provided “as is” without guarantees;
  • Users are responsible for validating decisions made using Platform data.

Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the previous 12 months.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are breached;
  • Fraud or misuse is suspected;
  • Required by legal or regulatory obligations.

Users may close their accounts at any time through the dashboard.

11. External Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Any changes will be published with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
